Health Care Supporters Sing Goodbye Outside Capitol at Historic Vote
Capitol Hill, Washington Historic Health Care Vote Turning Point at the
Capitol / Special Message for a Friend Democratic lawmakers achieved a
historic legislative victory in Washington on Sunday, March 21, 2010 when
they narrowly voted for sweeping health care reform. During the week waves
of protesters gathered outside the Capitol in support and opposition
(reference companion redarrowguy videos). Two to three thousand Tea Party
protesters gathered on the west lawn on Saturday. Some made their way
inside to disrupt the proceedings. Outside the Capitol Tea Party protestors
taunted and jeered Democratic lawmakers and staffers but welcomed many
Republicans that cheerfully approached the crowd. Many stopped and had
conversations with the Tea Party protestors even though they would later
deny kinship after ugly racial incidents were reported. Fox News promoted
the Tea Party protest and encouraged participation with long-distance shots
of the gathering crowd on the west lawn seemingly because of disappointing
attendance went to narrow-angle close-ups after the protest started. An
ambulance entered the protected Capitol corridor and a man asked how many
liberals would fit in one ambulance. Civil Rights icon John Lewis was
jeered. One nearby, mostly private conversation included multiple uses of
the N word. Barney Frank was a favorite target of homophobic comments.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi was depicted graphically as toxic poison, and
President Obama was associated with Nazis

Superhero A Visual Poem
Mental illness touches everyone: our friends, co-workers, mothers, fathers,
brothers, sisters and even our children. The statistics are staggering 1
in 5 suffer from a mental illness, thats 20% of our population but yet only
4% of the total healthcare budget is spent on our mental health. As a
result, mental illness drains 51 billion dollars in lost productivity from
the Canadian economy each year. We need to do more than just talk about it,
we need to invest in programs and services that will make a difference in
peoples lives. The stigma is huge and until we accept people with a mental
illness we wont be able to move forward and make a real difference.
Remember mental illness affects us all so please help where you can. Lets
start with acceptance.

his work in healing the sick and injured in Africa. This towering figure
jungle doctor, pastor, philosopher, and celebrated musician was revered by

in part by his wife and daughter, left behind in Europe while he pursued
his African dream. Albert Schweitzer: Called to Africa tells his remarkable

Bapu is murdered The doctor advises Alka and Abhishek not to allow Savitri
go out in the sun. Alka takes care of Savitri. Savitri is disturbed after
seeing Bapu in Aartis rally. She hides the same from Abhishek and Alka.
Alka reassures Chander about Savitris health. Savitri is stunned to see
Bapu visiting her. Abhishek notices Bapu and Savitri talking to each other.
Savitri tells Bapu about her feeling of guilt. Bapu advises her to forget
the past. At Savitris questioning, Bapu tells her that Aarti is an orphan
whom he raised. Alkas speech impresses the public and they applaud her.
Chander and Aarti overhear her speech. Chander is happy with Alkas speech.
Nityanand and Savitri are proud of Alka. Alka is stunned to learn of Bapus
murder. The media suspects that Bapus rivals might have killed him. Savitri
is shocked to know of Bapus death. Abhishek denies having any hand in Bapus
murder to the media. Aarti is in a state of shock over Bapus death. Savitri
tells Alka about knowing Bapu since her childhood. Alka questions Savitri
about Nityanands involvement in the murder, but she denies it. Chander is
stunned to know that Aarti suspects Nityanand of Bapus murder. She feels
that Nityanand had Bapu killed for Alkas sake. Aarti tells Chander that she
wants to win the election at any cost. Savitri assures Aarti of her support
always at Bapus funeral. Everyone is stunned when Aarti accuses Savitri of
getting Bapu murdered. Savitri denies this. Aartis accusations
